Whitespace

You may be wondering why I went from my previous design to this super simple, whitespaced-out design. Well, the main reason is that the old blog was way too busy. There was so much going on that it was hard to focus on just one thing. When it came time to blog, all of these things ran through my head: graphics, content, typography, spacing, etc… Eventually I ended up just not blogging altogether.

I’m proud of this design. It’s so simple and it loads so fast. It’s stripped of all the bells and whistles, and allows the reader to focus on what’s most important here and on any blog: content.

Websites these days have become so convoluted, that its difficult to find exactly what you need on any given site. Shouldn’t it be obvious to find what you’re looking for? Websites shouldn’t need an instruction manual.

That’s why you can never go wrong with whitespace. Whitespace is clean. Whitespace is awesome. Enjoy it!
